At our sanctuary, we’re proud to celebrate the kaleidoscope of colours that our rescued chickens gift us with each day. From blues and greens to pinks, browns, beige, white, and cream, our eggs are a true testament to the diversity and beauty of our feathered friends. Some even come with delightful spots, each one a unique work of art. Each chicken is a rescue from either a shelter or an owner surrender and because of this we have many different breeds here.
But it doesn’t stop there. When you crack open one of our eggs, get ready for a yolk that’s a vibrant burst of sunshine. No pale, muted yellows here – our free-range chickens produce yolks that are a glorious bright yellow or a vibrant orange. It’s a delicious reminder of the blissful life they lead, free to roam, forage, and bask in the sun.
