Welcome to Acres4Art!

At Acres4Art, we believe in the ability of art to create transformative experiences for both our clients and rescue animals. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and empowering environment where art meets animal rescue. Through the integration of art therapy, art as expression, art education, and our rescued sanctuary animals, we aim to facilitate healing, self-expression, and personal growth for both our clients and our furry and feathered friends.

We host art workshops in schools, libraries, retirement homes, community centres, corporations, and more across Ontario, while spreading joy and raising funds to care for our rescued furry friends. We also offer art therapy and art as expression sessions at our farm sanctuary. We invite you to come be a part of our ethical vision and experience the wondrous effects of adding creativity to our lives.

In response to the recent challenges faced by non-profit animal rescue organizations and sanctuaries, Acres4Art was created as a means to raise funds to support the operational costs of the farm sanctuary, which is home to a host of many adorable rescue animals of all kinds. These animals, all rescued by Coveted Canines and Creatures Rescue, are financially supported by the art programs of Acres4Art and the sales of artworks.

Acres4Art is a division of Coveted Kennels and Sanctuary, dedicated to raising essential funds for the rescue animals that call the sanctuary home. The sanctuary is run by volunteers of Coveted Canines and Creatures Rescue, which is our non-profit entity. Our combined mission is to provide financial support through engaging and enriching expressive art programs and workshops, art therapy sessions, and the sale of unique paintings and ceramic artworks. 

Every dollar raised directly contributes to the care and well-being of our rescue animals, ensuring they receive proper nutrition, veterinary care, and a safe, warm and loving environment. Our art initiatives not only promote creativity and personal expression but also serve a meaningful purpose by supporting the compassionate work we do at the sanctuary in a combined venture.

Acres4Art was born out of necessity when our dog kennel had to close its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We recognized the need for a sustainable way to fund our rescue efforts and turned to the arts as a powerful means of support. Through participation in our programs, community members can connect with both art and animal welfare, creating a joyful partnership that enriches lives on all sides.
