Jarren + the Turkeys
At our farm, we are blessed to have a delightful flock of the sweetest turkeys you can imagine! Among them is Jarren, our special therapy turkey. Jarren has a remarkable talent for sensing when the kids arrive for their art programs. With incredible determination, she leaps over multiple fences and traverses the paddocks just to knock on the art room door with her beak, eagerly awaiting her invitation to join the fun!
The other turkeys in our flock are equally charming, welcoming the children’s gentle hands for petting and interaction. Each one of our turkeys has a unique story, coming to us from either a shelter or an owner surrender situation, and they have all found a loving home here.
Turkeys are truly remarkable creatures. They possess a sweetness and sensitivity that make them standout personalities on the farm. Their emotional intelligence shines through in their interactions, creating bonds with both the children and our staff. These affectionate birds add a unique and joyful element to our programs, reminding us of the beauty of connection and compassion.
